Design graphics for three large walls in the new European headquarters of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Solution:…
Design and layout several sets of materials for You&Co, an organisation supporting young victims and witnesses of crime. Materials included: guidance documents for professionals, toolkits for children (aged 9-13), parents and teachers, and evaluation reports for funders and supporters. Resources needed to be age appropriate, “on brand” and distinguishable as a ‘set’ within the wider You&Co offering.
The client wanted a suite of good quality images that could be used for these materials, for their website and into the future. Some were sourced from stock libraries and others from a commissioned photo shoot.
The materials make use of the distinctive brand colours and the circle device from the logo. Each ‘set’ was given its own style appropriate to the audience.
Full page images, quotes and illustrations break up dense copy in the resources for professionals, while icons and illustrations enliven the children’s materials.
The photo shoot was arranged over two days in two locations. Young people from a local dance company modelled in exchange for some photographs of their dancing. Appropriate consent was sought in advance and throughout the day, and a youth worker on hand in case the shoot brought up any issues with the young people.
